At TinFoiledHat, most products are custom-made, printed on demand, packed by hand, or specially prepared after your order is placed. This helps us avoid unnecessary stock and keeps every order suspiciously intentional.

Processing Time

Most apparel, mugs, and print-on-demand items are produced after your order is placed. Processing times usually range from 3–6 business days before the item ships.

Tin Foil Hat Starter Kits are packed and prepared for each order. Standard Starter Kits usually process within 3–5 business days.

Personalized Starter Kits, custom certificate orders, and special prepared items may take 3–7 business days because the certificate or order details must be customized before shipping.

Processing time does not include carrier transit time.

Estimated delivery is calculated as:

processing time + shipping/transit time = estimated delivery time

Shipping Time

After your order is fulfilled, shipping time depends on your location, the product type, the fulfillment location, and the shipping method available at checkout.

Most U.S. orders arrive within several business days after shipment, but delivery estimates are not guarantees. Carrier delays, holidays, weather, incorrect addresses, and high-volume seasons can sometimes affect delivery times.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are shown at checkout before you complete your order.

Shipping rates may vary depending on the item, destination, order value, package size, product type, and fulfillment location. Some products may ship separately if they are fulfilled from different locations.

Made-to-Order & Product-Specific Returns

Because TinFoiledHat products are custom-printed, made to order, packed by hand, or specially prepared for each order, we do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for buyer’s remorse, wrong size selection, accidental orders, change of mind, or personal preference.

Graphic Tees & Apparel

All shirts and apparel are custom printed on demand.

We do not accept returns, refunds, or free exchanges for buyer’s remorse, incorrect size selection, accidental orders, or change of mind.

Please review the size guide before ordering. If you want a different size after ordering the wrong size, a new order must be placed.

If your apparel arrives damaged, misprinted, mislabeled, defective, or incorrect, contact us within thirty (30) days of receiving the item so we can review the issue.

Tin Foil Hat Starter Kit

The Tin Foil Hat Starter Kit is a novelty gift item that is packed and prepared for each order.

Starter Kit sales are final. We do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for buyer’s remorse, change of mind, accidental orders, personal preference, or because the item did not meet personal expectations after the kit has been opened or received.

Personalized Starter Kits and custom certificate orders are also final sale. Please check spelling carefully, because the certificate will be printed using the exact name provided by the buyer.

If your kit arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect, contact us within thirty (30) days of delivery so we can review the issue.

Damaged, Defective, Incomplete, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, misprinted, mislabeled, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible at:

Please include:

- Your order number
- A short description of the issue
- Clear photos of the product
- Clear photos of the packaging, if damaged
- Photos showing the printing error, missing item, defect, or incorrect product

Once reviewed, we may arrange a replacement item, missing-item shipment, or another appropriate resolution.

Packages Lost in Transit

For packages lost in transit, claims must be submitted no later than thirty (30) days after the estimated delivery date.

If tracking shows your package has stalled and has not moved for an extended period, please contact us at:

We will review the tracking information and help investigate the issue. If the package is confirmed lost by the carrier or fulfillment provider, we may arrange a replacement or another appropriate resolution.

Packages Marked “Delivered”

If carrier tracking states that your package was successfully delivered to your address but you have not received it, TinFoiledHat cannot cover the cost of a replacement or refund.

We recommend checking with neighbors, contacting your local post office or carrier, reviewing your delivery area, and checking any available property security footage.

Wrong Address or Returned Packages

Please make sure your shipping address is correct before placing your order.

If a package is returned because of an incorrect, incomplete, or insufficient address, additional shipping fees may apply to resend the order once an updated, valid shipping address has been confirmed.
